Data, Data, Data! Now Available
This course is designed to align with chapters 3 and 4 of The Use of Data in School Counseling: Hatching Results for Students, Programs, and the Profession (Hatch, 2014). This course is an introduction to how school counselors and educators can learn to use data when designing, implementing, evaluating, and improving school counseling and other programs in schools.
Data, Data, Data! is available in two online formats: facilitated or self-paced. Facilitated courses are moderated by a trained instructor who provides online coaching and grades assignments, facilitates classroom discussions, and responds to questions as participants progress through the course. Completion time varies by participant, but in most cases an average of 15-20 hours is required. Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course.
Students participating in the self-paced course may access the course material and complete readings and assignments on their own schedule. As this course is non-facilitated, students will not receive feedback on their work or participate in group discussions.
