New Logo, Same Hatching Results

We’re thrilled to share a new logo for Hatching Results!

The Story of the Original

Trish began Hatching Results over 20 years ago, and as the demand for her services increased, Hatching Results slowly evolved as a business. When it was time to create a company logo, Trish’s brother, Paul Meyers, suggested that his daughter, Kayleigh, could create a digital image on her computer.

Kayleigh, age 12 at the time, was a budding artist and had a knack for graphic design as well as a skill for manipulating images on the computer. She created an image of a graduation cap and diploma to illustrate results “hatching” out of an eggshell. In addition, Kayleigh used an artistic technique known as “hatching” - closely drawn parallel lines that create shading and give the illusion of a three-dimensional egg. Kayleigh knew that her Aunt Trish was also an artist and would understand the visual pun.

Trish, of course, loved it.

Not knowing how best to compensate her niece for her contribution, Trish gifted the Meyers family with a ping-pong/pool table that the entire family would enjoy for years (they still have it!).

Kayleigh later earned a BA in Studio Art from Redlands University and became an art teacher. Currently, Kayleigh teaches IB Art & Design at the American International School of Kuwait.

Over 20 years later, we’re ready to move to a more modern take on Kayleigh’s original concept, but will always treasure the illustration that was present through our company’s growth from solo entrepreneurship to one of the nation’s premier providers of professional learning for school counselors and administrators.

Our thanks to Gary Gogis for his hard work designing this logo. (And he also did our logo for NSCLC!)
