ABOUT RECOGNIZED ASCA MODEL PROGRAM (RAMP) SCHOOLS

Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) schools represent the very best comprehensive school counseling programs in the nation. To receive the national RAMP recognition, schools must submit an extensive ten-component application. This application documents the establishment of annual student outcome goals and the implementation of data-driven, standards-based, planned school counseling services provided to students via classroom lessons, small groups, and closing-the-gap interventions. School counseling programs must also include collaboration with community partners via annual administrative conferences and advisory council meetings. Once a school has a comprehensive program in place, an entire academic year is needed for the collection of data and information for the application prior to applying for RAMP in October of the following year.

Many of the school counselors we’ve worked with can attest that just going through the application process for RAMP pushes your program to its highest potential!

Looking to apply for RAMP and want additional support? We offer “Road to RAMP” support with 16-month and 5-month prepackaged plans or a la carte services! If interested, contact our Director of Advancement Services, Dr. Julie Hartline, at julie@hatchingresults.com for more information.
